Buyer Representation
In the traditional real estate relationship both the office hired to list the property and the office that brings forth the ultimate buyer work for the seller. The effect of this is that no matter how good the relationship between buyer and agent, the agent must always act in the best interests of the seller.
In New York, a buyer can utilize the services of their own broker. This broker is called a buyer’s agent and acts in the best interest of the buyer. Consider whether buyer agency is right for you and ask your CENTURY 21Madeleine Bodner Specialist about buyer representation.
